B D Guar's state-of-the-art guar gum manufacturing facility is located in the Kalol Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) area, in the heart of India's guar belt. Established in 1983, the plant has undergone continuous modernization and today produces food-grade, pharmaceutical-grade, industrial-grade, and specialty guar gum products for export to 50+ countries.

Manufacturing Process
From field-sourced guar seeds to export-ready powder, every stage is controlled, documented, and tested.
Raw Material Sourcing
Guar seeds sourced from Rajasthan and Gujarat farms with traceability to field level.
Cleaning & Splitting
Seeds cleaned, de-husked, and split into guar splits. Impurities removed via multi-stage screening.
Grinding & Sieving
Splits ground in hammer mills and classified by mesh size (100-300 mesh). Temperature-controlled to preserve galactomannan integrity.
Purification
Powder purified through air classification. Protein, ash, and acid insoluble residue reduced to meet pharmaceutical and food specifications.
Quality Testing
Every batch tested in our in-house lab (30+ parameters: viscosity, moisture, mesh, microbiology, heavy metals, ETO).
Packaging & Dispatch
Food-grade PP/HDPE bags (25kg/50kg), sealed drums, or customized packaging. Containerized for FOB/CIF shipment.

Our manufacturing facility is located at Plot No. 11/B, GIDC, Kalol, Dist. Gandhinagar, Gujarat 382725, India. Kalol is approximately 30 km from Ahmedabad and well-connected by road and rail.
What is the production capacity?
Our Kalol facility has an installed capacity of 12,000 metric tons per year across multiple processing lines. We can handle orders from sample quantities to full container loads (FCL).

What quality systems are in place?
The facility operates under ISO 9001:2015 quality management and ISO 22000 food safety management systems. HACCP principles are integrated throughout production. Every batch undergoes 30+ analytical tests in our in-house laboratory.
Is the facility ETO-free?
Yes. We use only steam and heat-based processing — no ethylene oxide is used at any stage. Every batch is tested for ETO and 2-chloroethanol residues to < 0.1 mg/kg (EU LOQ).
