Can Guar Gum be manufactured to a custom specification?
Yes. B.D. Guar Pvt. Ltd. produces Guar Gum to customer-defined viscosity (2,500–6,000+ cps), mesh (100/200/300/400), moisture, protein, ash, AIR and hydration speed. Pre-blends with xanthan, carrageenan, cassia or locust bean are also producible at customer ratios. MOQ 5 MT, lead time 3–4 weeks first batch, 2–3 weeks repeat. All specs delivered with COA on every batch.

Can I order Guar Gum to my custom specification?

What viscosity range can you produce?
Standard 2,500–6,000+ cps (1% solution, Brookfield BV103B, 25°C). Special projects up to 7,000 cps with selected high-galactomannan splits. Lower viscosity grades (1,500–2,500 cps) available for paper and textile sizing.
What mesh sizes do you offer?
Standard mesh sizes: 100 (coarse), 200 (most common food/oilfield), 300 (fine), 400 (superfine for high-clarity beverage and specialty cosmetic). Custom intermediate mesh distributions available at 5 MT+ runs.
Can hydration speed be tuned?
Yes. Slow-hydrating (15+ min, useful for dry-mix premixes), standard (5–8 min, food), and fast-hydrating (<3 min, oilfield frac fluid) are all producible. Hydration is controlled via mesh, surface treatment and post-milling agglomeration.
What about AIR (Acid Insoluble Residue) tuning?
Standard food grade <3% AIR. Slickwater oilfield grade <3% (low-residue). Industrial grades up to 7% accepted where downstream process tolerates. Tighter AIR commands a small premium due to additional refining.
Can you tune protein and ash?
Protein can be tightened to <4% (USDA Organic baseline) with selected split sourcing. Ash to <1% with extra refining. Both tighter targets carry small premiums and slightly extend lead time.
Do you formulate custom blends with other hydrocolloids?
Yes. Pre-blended Guar + xanthan (ice cream stabilizer systems), Guar + carrageenan (dairy), Guar + cassia (pet food gravy), and Guar + locust bean (frozen dairy) blends at customer-specified ratios with single-COA delivery.
